We were recently at an Appaloosa Horse show in Plattsburgh where you were taking the show pictures. We just wanted to let you know that we just finished looking at the online proofs and we are very impressed with the quality. So often at shows the photos taken just don't seem to capture the true moment, but you managed to capture not only the spirit of the show but the elegance and beauty of the horses. As horse owners we know how difficult it can be to get our four legged friends to stand or look just right, and to stay that way long enough to snap a photo, but you managed to be at the right.
The Connecticut Appaloosa Association has used Mystical Photography for our open shows, regional show, and for our 2008 Annual Spring Riding Clinic. Jamie is very keen to many different breeds natural movement and the shots that work, for the best photo possible. On a personal note, I've had some terrific pictures taken of my Appaloosa mare; huntseat, western and in hand.
My name is Kayla, and Jamie took stunning pictures of my horse Indy and I. She Also photographed my wedding at the end of August - and again - just stunning results! She is a terrific photographer, open minded, fun, bold, passionate about her job, and so easy to work with! There is no other person I would have taking pictures of my horse, or me.
Last May my husband and I were married and Jaime was our Photographer. Jaime is absolutely awesome. She allows you to only get what you want without charging outrageous fees. We absolutely loved Jamie's photos and had plenty of shots to choose from. It was great to be able to get exactly what we wanted and not have to spend thousands of dollars!!
I couldn't ask for a more professional yet affordable way to get my senior pictures taken. Jamie was great! She came out to both of my farms & was full of creative ideas for pictures with my horses & other ideas for the year book. She was extremely patient with the horses & me :) I would suggest Jamie for any event, especially senior pictures and horse show events!
Jamie - OMG! OMG! OMG! You took so many great shots at our wedding! My Dad was impressed as well after looking through the proofs. We love so many of the pictures! You captured so many expressions. Hi Jamie! I’m not sure if your ears were ringing but a bunch of us were talking about you at the Appaloosa booth @ Equine Affaire where they had a TV of photos you took going all day every day. Friends with us who had only seen the photos you took for us (and of course thought they were awesome) were just amazed at all the good shots you had. The photo you took of Larry hugging Garet is going on his Year End Award plaque. For the last two years we attended the Green Mountain Appaloosa Horse show where Jamie was the photographer. She was awesome. This past year we hired her for our show the Lake Champlain Appaloosa Club horse show, Everyone loved her work and we are having her back again this year. She knows how to capture a horse and it's rider and just the right angles and times. Her photos of our horses have become some of our favorites. Thanks Jamie.
As an avid horse lover and regular competitor at Regional Appaloosa horse shows and open shows, I always love when Mystical Photography is the photographer at shows! Jamie does a spectacular job of capturing how much work and effort we put into showing our horses and that special connection that horse and rider have. Behind each picture, is a story as to how much work and time has gone into that one moment that is captured through a photograph. Being able to tell the story behind a beautiful picture that was taken by Mystical Photography makes me smile. The saying ‘A picture is worth a thousand words’ could not be more true. Both of the Appaloosa regional shows I have attended so far this year hired Jamie as the photographer and am I sure glad they did! For the first show I brought a leopard yearling filly I was just starting to advertise for sale and ended up with some amazing shots which really showed off her unique coloring and nice build that I was able to use in my ads for her. As a result, not only did I get responses from all over the country but we were able to sell her within a week to a loving home in Tennessee. For the second show, I brought my yearling colt, who will be the future sire at our farm, and again was very pleased with the photos Jamie was able to capture. She was even able to work in some candid out of the ring shots around her very busy schedule while we were there. Now I'll always have some nice "baby" pictures of Artie since I always forget to take them myself! I look forward to utilizing Jamie's services in the future, both at shows and at our own farm for other events and would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a thorough and creative photographer.
